1/16 LOGO COMPETITION:
The Upper Peninsula Center for Educational Development (UPCED) has a
challenge for interested high school students.
they are in search of a logo for their letterhead and for events publicity. They are opening the invitation to high school business /marketing classes and to all
individual high school students across the Upper Peninsula to create and submit a
logo for consideration. Winning Selection will receive $100.00,
First and Second Runners Up will each receive $50.00, and
Honorable Mentions (four will be selected) will each receive $25.00. Stop by the Main Office for contest more information. Deadline for submission is March 30, 2018.
1/29 TEAL LAKE SCHOLARSHIP:
The Teal Lake Scholarships are now available on the Guidance Google Classroom and outside the Guidance Office near the Library. Please note the Deadline is April 3rd, but we will be on Spring Break, so get those back to Mrs. Viitala by 8:00 am March 28th. DON'T WAIT! If there is a snow day, there is nothing we can to do get those to the Lodge before the April 3rd deadline!
2/1 AMERICAN LEGION SCHOLARSHIP:
Richard M. Jopling Unit 44, American Legion Auxiliary of Marquette, scholarship is available in your Google Classroom and on the Schoalrship Wall. Deadline: April 15th
2/13 SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP:
The Vietnam Veterans of America Scholarship is available for children or grandchildren of currently serving parents or grandparents or those who were honorably discharged. Check the Google Classroom or take a copy from the Scholarship Wall. Deadline: March 30th.
2/19 PIE THE PRINCIPAL:
How would you like to see Mr.Pfluger, Mrs. Viitala, Mrs. Boyle, Mr. Hantz, Mrs. Heinzel, Mr. Platt and many more of our teaching staff end up with pie in their face at Friday's assembly. Stop by before school and during in front of the Attendance Office and purchase your ticket to be the one to make it happen. $2.00 per ticket for a chance at Mr. Pfluger. $1.00 per ticket for a chance at one our amazing staff. All proceeds go towards this year's Prom -thanks from the Junior Class.

2/19 ATHLETIC CONGRATULATIONS:
Congratulations to Daniel Johnson on qualifying this past weekend to compete in the state wrestling championships at Ford Field. Way to go Daniel!
